Marines assigned to U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Central Command help clean up the Centro Asturiano Cemetery in Tampa, Florida, Sept. 15, 2023. Marines assigned to MARCENT cleaned up the cemetery following a memorial service for U.S. Marine Corps 1st Lt. Baldomero Lopez. On Sept. 15, 1950, Lopez jumped on a grenade during the Battle of Inchon to save the lives of his comrades. For his sacrifice, Lopez was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor.
