With the vehicles secured aboard the Improved Navy Lighterage System, the Sailors of Amphibious Construction Battalion are ready to transport the vehicles to the USS Ft. McHenry (LSD 43) during West African Training Cruise 2008. The INLS will be used to transfer vehicles and Marines between naval platforms in order to deliver them ashore to conduct humanitarian assistance operations throughout the city of Monrovia, Liberia.
