Marines from 4th Landing Support Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group, and Sailors from Naval Beach Group 2 wait on a causeway ferry to move their vehicles on to the roll-on/roll-off discharge facility. The RRDF and causeway ferry are part of the Navy's new Improved Navy Lighterage System, which is designed to facilitate the transfer of Marines, vehicles and equipment between naval vessels at sea.
