U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Leonardo Garcia, 51st Maintenance Squadron Aerospace Ground Equipment and Staff Sgt. Alexie Delgado, 51st Maintenance Squadron Aircraft Metals Technology, give a thumbs up while on an incentive ride on board a 168th Wing KC-135 Stratotanker during a Red Flag Alaska aerial refueling mission. The maintenance Airmen witnessed aircraft refueling from the back of the KC-135 Stratotanker, a sight that deepened their understanding of the mission, fostering a stronger sense of camaraderie, allowing them to see firsthand their dedication and hard work in the air in action. The 168 WG has a unique role in delivering vital air refueling support in the Pacific and Arctic regions and plays a crucial part in every Red Flag at Eielson Air Force Base, ensuring the high operational tempo and teamwork exercise are refueled.
