A KC-135 Stratotanker assigned to the 168th Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, returns to Eielson Air Force Base after an aerial refueling mission during Red Flag Alaska 24-2, June 13, 2024. The 168th Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, took the 25th and 51st Fighter Squadron Maintenance Airmen and 25th and 355th Fighter Squadron flight docs to the skies over Alaska on a 168 WG KC-135 Stratotanker Red Flag 24-2 aerial refueling mission and incentive ride, providing them a unique and unforgettable experience. The 168 WG has a unique role in delivering vital air refueling support in the Pacific and Arctic regions and plays a crucial part in every Red Flag at Eielson Air Force Base, ensuring partners and allies are refueled during the high operational tempo and teamwork exercise. During the iteration of Red Flag-Alaska 24-2, the 168 WG continued connecting and training with their partners and allies, including providing incentive flights to the maintainers, a physical therapist, and flight hours for the flight docs taking part in RF-Alaska.
