U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Leonardo Garcia, 51st Maintenance Squadron, Aerospace Ground Equipment, gives a thumbs up to in-flight air refueling during his incentive ride on board a 168th Wing KC-135 Stratotanker, June 15, 2024. The maintenance Airmen witnessed aircraft refueling from the back of the KC-135 Stratotanker, a sight that deepened their understanding of the mission, fostering a stronger sense of camaraderie, allowing them to see firsthand their dedication and hard work in the air in action during Red Flag Alaska. The 168 WG has a unique role in delivering vital air refueling support in the Pacific and Arctic regions and plays a crucial part in every Red Flag at Eielson Air Force Base, ensuring the high operational tempo and teamwork exercise are refueled. The incentive ride was part of building enduring relationships during Red Flag Alaska between participating units and educating them on the 168th air refueling mission.
