U.S. Army Sgt. Austin DeLeon and Spc. Colin Pristelski, assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, pushes a canon during the Iron Steel Competition during Torch Week 2024 held at on Fort Bliss, Texas, Nov. 4, 2024. As the final event of the competition, Soldiers must push through their exhaustion to the finish line. Iron Soldiers from across the 1st Armored Division participated in the division’s annual Torch Week event. Iron Soldiers participate in several military and sporting competitions, demonstrations and celebrations designed to build morale across the units, strengthen family readiness and fortify unit cohesion.
