U.S. Army Soldiers throughout the 1st Armored Division participate in a Tug O’ War competition during the Commander’s Cup Challenge at Iron Soldier Field as part of Torch Week 2024 held at Fort Bliss, Texas, Nov. 7, 2024. The Tug O’ War marked the first of seven challenging stations in the Commander’s Cup event, followed by six additional stations—Sled Pull, Weapons Skills, Water Jug Farmer’s Carry, Burpees, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, and the Litter Carry—each designed to test strength, endurance, and teamwork, while embodying the spirit of competition and camaraderie central to Torch Week.
