Tech. Sgt. Chris Reiter, 379th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, 340th Aircraft Maintenance Unit, muscles up to break loose the bolts holding an unserviceable brake unit on a KC-135 aircraft, Sept. 28, 2008, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. The brake set had to be replaced when a crack in the heat shield was detected during a post-flight inspection. Sgt. Reiter, a native of Farmington, N.M., is deployed from Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash., in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
