Airman 1st Class James Giesick and Tech. Sgt. Chris Reiter, 379th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, 340th Aircraft Maintenance Unit, work together to break loose the bolts holding an unserviceable brake unit on a KC-135 aircraft, Sept. 28, 2008, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. The brake set had to be replaced when a crack in the heat shield was detected during a post-flight inspection. Sgt. Reiter, a native of Farmington, N.M., is deployed from Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash., and Airman McMillen, hailing from Warsaw, Ill., is deployed from McConnell AFB, Kan., Both are deployed here in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
