Airman 1st Class Ryan McMillen, on the rear of the tire, and Tech. Sgt. Chris Reiter, both assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, 340th Aircraft Maintenance Unit, muscle up to break loose the bolts holding an unserviceable brake unit on a KC-135 aircraft, Sept. 28, 2008, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. The brake set had to be replaced when a crack in the heat shield was detected during a post-flight inspection. Sgt. Reiter, a native of Farmington, N.M., is deployed from Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash., and Airman McMillen, hailing from Warsaw, Ill., is deployed from McConnell AFB, Kan. Both are deployed in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
