An injured Ugandan soldier lies on a stretcher in a Level II field hospital operated by the 629th Forward Surgical Team from Columbus, Ohio. The 629th FST is deployed in support of a military exercise, Natural Fire. When the team learned that a Ugandan soldier had been injured by a falling steel beam at a construction side, they moved quickly to treat, stabilize and prepare him for helicopter medevac to a hospital in Kampala, 200 miles south.
