160707-N-IN729-037 SOUTH CHINA SEA (July 7, 2016) A fog machine adds realism to a hangar bay fire fighting exercise on the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) during a general quarters drill. During general quarters drills, fog machines are used to create low visibility situations to better prepare Sailors for real life damage control situations. Ronald Reagan, the Carrier Strike Group Five (CSG 5) flagship, is on patrol in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
