160707-N-IN729-190 SOUTH CHINA SEA (July 7, 2016) Sailors attached to a fire team move toward the scene of a simulated fire in the Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Department tunnel aboard the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The Damage Control Training Team challenges Sailors during general quarters drills by forcing them to solve complex evolutions that can take place in any compartment of the ship. Ronald Reagan, the Carrier Strike Group Five (CSG 5) flagship, is on patrol in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
