160707-N-IN729-039 SOUTH CHINA SEA (July 7, 2016) Sailors crowd the hangar bay of the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) to practice protecting the ship during a general quarters drill. During general quarters drills, Sailors from all departments are called upon to perform tasks such as firefighting, communicating and teaching junior Sailors how to perform these duties. Ronald Reagan, the Carrier Strike Group Five (CSG 5) flagship, is on patrol in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
