160813-N-VQ947-051 YOKOSUKA, Japan (Aug. 13, 2016) Interior Communications Electrician Seaman William Hutchings, from Highlands Ranch, Colorado, uses a sponge to apply a new coat of wax to a passageway aboard the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). With Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV) only two days away, Sailors on duty need to keep up preparations over the weekend. Ronald Reagan provides a combat-ready force, which protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
