TUCSON, ARIZONA (Aug. 12, 2016) – Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps midshipman candidates form into a platoon for the first time on Aug. 12, 2016, in preparation to learn the basics of close-order drill at The University of Arizona as part of freshman New Student Orientation training. The weeklong NSO training took place Aug. 12-19 at both Camp Navajo, Arizona, alongside two other university NROTC units, and at The University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.
