FLAGSTAFF, Arizona (Aug. 14, 2016) – Navy Lt. Christopher Dunlop, a naval science instructor from the University of New Mexico Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps unit, watches as a midshipman candidate steps off a dive platform as part of his basic swim qualification Aug. 14, 2016, at the Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona, as part of joint New Student Orientation training. The University of Arizona NROTC’s weeklong NSO training took place Aug. 12-19, with half combined in Flagstaff alongside freshman candidates from the University of New Mexico and Arizona State University NROTC units, and the second half at The University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.
