FLAGSTAFF, Arizona (Aug. 15, 2016) – A Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps midshipman candidate attempts to leap and grab a trapeze from a platform as wide and high as a telephone pole while blindfolded Aug. 15, 2016, at the Northern Arizona University’s Challenge Course in Flagstaff, Arizona, as part of joint New Student Orientation training. The weeklong NSO training took place Aug. 12-19, with half combined in the Flagstaff area alongside freshman candidates from the University of New Mexico and Arizona State University NROTC units, and the second half at The University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.
