170724-N-LC424-729 PACIFIC OCEAN (July 24, 2017) Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Cecille Blackmon, a San Diego native, assigned to the Deck department aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), performs maintenance on a flight deck net on the ship’s flight deck. Pearl Harbor is currently embarked on a scheduled deployment as part of the America Amphibious Ready Group, which is comprised of more than 1,800 Sailors and 2,600 Marines assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22), and Pearl Harbor.
