170728-N-ZW825-144 BRISBANE, Australia (July 28, 2017) A harbor tug assists Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104) in departing Brisbane, Australia after concluding a scheduled port visit. Sterett is deployed in support of maritime security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific and is operating under the command and control of U.S. 3rd Fleet. U.S. 3rd Fleet operating forward offers additional options to the Pacific Fleet commander by leveraging the capabilities of 3rd and 7th Fleets.
