170727-N-LC424-578 PACIFIC OCEAN (July 27, 2017) Sailors assigned to Assault Craft Unit 5, aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), monitor landing craft, air cushion (LCAC) maintenance from inside the LCAC’s cabin, while conducting maintenance on the craft in the ship’s well deck. Pearl Harbor, part of the America Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the Indo-Asia Pacific region to strengthen partnerships and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
