170926-N-UK248-039 U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Sept. 26, 2017) Marines assigned to the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) sweep up residual water in the ship’s vehicle stowage area following a vehicle wash-down. Pearl Harbor is part of the America Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, with the embarked 15th MEU, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
