170923-N-UK248-154 U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Sept. 23, 2017) Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Larrinisha Walker, a native of New Orleans, assigned to the deck department aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), hooks the sling for a rigid-hull inflatable boat to the ship’s crane prior to launching the boat from the boat deck. Pearl Harbor is part of the America Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
