JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Feb. 8, 2019) – Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Daniel Sesante, a tactical combat casualty care instructor at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, educates a sailor during a simulated patient assessment. Sesante, a native of Stockton, California, says “My Gunny once told me ‘by failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.’ As instructors, we are preparing the future of Navy Medicine to be technically and tactically proficient to be a part of the fleet marine force. It’s a great honor to be a part of their journey.” (U.S. Navy photo by Jacob Sippel, Naval Hospital Jacksonville/Released).
