JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Feb. 22, 2019) – Hospitalman Daniel Ambrose, of Naval Branch Health Clinic Jacksonville’s Primary Care Clinic, prepares to hoist the flag during morning colors. Ambrose, a native of Luton, England, says, “I joined the Navy because I wanted to help fight the war on terrorism. I grew up seeing terrorist activity around the world, but I was too young to do anything about it. Now that I’m older, living in the U.S, I’m able to contribute. I’ve always been very interested in the medical field, so I became a hospital corpsman. I hope to eventually commission and become a general surgeon.” (U.S. Navy photo by Jacob Sippel, Naval Hospital Jacksonville/Released).
