190815-N-PP451-1004 FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Calif. (Aug. 15, 2019) Equipment Operator 2nd Class Joshua Horner, from Pensacola, Florida, and Equipment Operator 2nd Class Thomas Mann, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, continue developing the water well, a process which requires blasting thousands of gallons of fresh water into the water well. Seabees assigned to NMCB-5 participated in 24-hour drilling operations to develop a functional water well. The water well training was completed in preparation for Major Combat Operations response or Humanitarian Aid/Disaster Relief.
