U.S. and Canadian soldiers crew an assault boat on the Columbia River here Aug. 16 during a watermanship course as part of Kootenay Castor 2012. Kootenay Castor is a two week long combined training exercise between Washington Army National Guard and Canadian army combat engineers to enhance the soldier's skills and tactics.
