THULE AIR BASE, Greenland – A C-130 Hercules rests on the flight line at Thule Air Base, Greenland, Aug. 9, 2022. Located 750 miles north of the Arctic Circle, Thule AB features a 10,000-foot runway supporting more than 3,000 U.S. and international flights per year.
