Abdullah lost everything when ISIS invaded his hometown, including his farm, which was his entire source of income, and his evergreen paradise, as he describes it. Upon liberation, Abdullah decided to start all over again but struggled with the lack of equipment.
With USAID support, Abdullah installed a new water tank, two water pumps, and pipes to irrigate his crops on a donum farm. Now Abdullah is busier than ever, growing and selling his products. He has harvested both okra and cucumber on his farm. With the support provided, Abdulla is planning to produce more products, including fruits and vegetables, to expand his supply chain.
