An aviation electronics technician walks the wing of a EA-6B Prowler assigned to the "Cougars" of Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 139 in order to ensure all maintence checks have been completed prior to an engine test run on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. Sept. 19, 2008, was a designated maintenance day, leaving the flight deck available for squadron personnel to complete scheduled maintenance on aircraft. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
