Petty Officer 2nd Class Robert Brimberry (left) and Petty Officer 3rd Class Daniel Hartman perform maintenance on an alignment outlet box on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. The AOB is used to transfer information such as position and velocity to the pilot of an aircraft as it hits the cross-deck pennet. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
