U.S. Marines of the Marine Air Group 26 assemble a helicopter transported to this island by an Air National Guard C-130. The helicopter was used to distribute food, bedding and other relief supplies throughout the island. Hurricane David destroyed a large part of this tropical island. To date the United States has provided more than 700 tons of food, medical supplies, tents, bedding and water equipment to Dominica, Dominican Republic and Jamaica. The Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps assisted in the distribution of this relief aid. (Photo by PHC W.J. Dupuis, U.S. Navy)
