WELISARA NAVAL BASE, Sri Lanka (March 29, 2017) U.S. Marine Cpl. Tanner Larson, a military policeman with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, demonstrates detainee handling to Sri Lankan Marines during military tactics training and exchange held at Welissara Naval Base as part of a theater security cooperation engagement, March 29. During the training, Sri Lankan Marines had the opportunity to experience a wide variety of U.S. military tactics to include: squad-sized patrolling and rushing of enemy objectives, tactical casualty care, convoy operations, and Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief scenarios.
