WELISARA NAVAL BASE, Sri Lanka (March 29, 2017) U.S. Marine with Company B, Battalion Landing Team 1st Bn., 4th Marines, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, pose for a photo alongside Marines with the Sri Lanka Marine Corps following a military tactics training and exchange at Wellissara Naval base as part of a theater security cooperation engagement, March 29. During the engagement, Marines and Sailors embarked aboard USS Comstock (LSD 45) will participate in bilateral training and cultural activities alongside the Sri Lanka Armed Forces, helping to build relationships, enhance military readiness, and increase humanitarian assistance and disaster relief capabilities.
