A Romanian Army soldier learns how to use a clinometer to take a glide path reading during a Landing Zone Safety Officer class. The class consisted of U.S. Air Force, Army, and Romanian Army personnel from Forward Operating Base Lagman, Afghanistan and was taught by U.S. Air Force instructors from Combined Joint Task Force 101, Headquarters Air Mobility Liaison Office. Students were in the class to be certified to safely run the dirt landing and drop zone in the Zabul province near FOB Lagman.
