A Romanian army soldier from Forward Operating Base Lagman, Afghanistan learns how to set up air field panels during the hands on portion of a Landing Zone Safety Officer class. Students were in the class to be certified to safely run the dirt landing and drop zone in the Zabul province near FOB Lagman. The class consisted of U.S. Air Force, Army, and Romanian Army personnel. The class was taught by U.S. Air Force instructors from Combined Joint Task Force 101, Headquarters Air Mobility Liaison Office.
