U.S. Air Force, Army, and Romanian Army personnel from Forward Operating Base Lagman, Afghanistan, walk to a drop zone in the Zabul province of Afghanistan near FOB Lagman as part of the hands onl portion of a Landing Zone Safety Officer class. Students were in the class to be certified to safely run the dirt landing and drop zone. The class was taught by U.S. Air Force instructors from Combined Joint Task Force 101, Headquarters Air Mobility Liaison Office.
