A Romanian Army Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle provides security around the surrounding area of a dirt landing zone near Forward Operating Base Lagman, Afghanistan. A Landing Zone Safety Officer training class was conducted for U.S. Air Force, Army, and Romanian Army personnel at the dirt landing zone. Students were in the class to be certified to safely run the dirt landing and drop zone in the Zabul province near FOB Lagman. The class was taught by U.S. Air Force instructors from Combined Joint Task Force 101, Headquarters Air Mobility Liaison Office.
