Romanian army soldiers from Forward Operating Base Lagman, Afghanistan learn how to set up airfield panels during the hands on portion of a Landing Zone Safety Officer class. Students were in the class to be certified to safely run the dirt landing and drop zone in the Zabul province near FOB Lagman. The class was made up of U.S. Air Force, Army, and Romanian Army personnel and was taught by U.S. Air Force instructors from Combined Joint Task Force 101, Headquarters Air Mobility Liaison Office.
