Sgt. Quienten Amore, a native of West Plains, Missouri, and an infantryman with 3rd Battalion, 41st Infantry Regiment, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, dons mission oriented protective posture (MOPP) gear designed to limit exposure to toxic environments, while competing in the 1st Armored Division's 2019 Best Warrior Competition May 13 at Fort Bliss, Texas. The 2019 Best Warrior Competition took place over the course of four days. Individuals were tested in skills such as chemical, biological radiation, nuclear and explosives (CBRNE) preparedness, applying medical skills, weapons proficiency, physical fitness, land navigation and hand-to-hand combatives to determine 1AD’s top junior enlisted Soldier and Noncommissioned Officer.
