Sgt. Quienten Amore, a native of West Plains, Missouri, and an infantryman with 3rd Battalion, 41st Infantry Regiment, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, sprints towards the finish marker during the land navigation portion of the 1st Armored Division Best Warrior Competition May 16 at Fort Bliss, Texas. Soldiers were given four hours to plot location points on a map and transverse the land navigation course to reach and identify each marker in the early morning as night turned into day.
