An Iraqi National Guard soldier provides security, while Soldiers of the 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team) provide overwatch and security during operations in western Ninevah Province. Three Iraqi National Guard battalions and three battalions from the Stryker Brigade worked together to stop terrorist activity in Tall Afar during the early morning hours of Aug. 1, 2004.
