Base: Moody Air Force Base, Georgia
    Nominated by: Mr. Brandon DeVine

1st Lt Taylor Lawrence has proven herself to be an outstanding Airman Civil Engineer, despite having just over two years of experience in the career field. She has achieved remarkable accomplishments and displayed exceptional performance, leadership, and dedication. As a project manager, Lawrence successfully led construction and design projects totaling over $12M across two wings. Her projects directly impacted the safety of 70 A-10s, HH-60s, and C-130s, ensuring the base's flying missions could be carried out without compromising the well-being of the aircraft and crew. Additionally, she played a crucial role in improving the quality of life for Airmen through a successful dorm renovation project and enhanced the housing facilities for the Air Force's second largest Military Working Dog Force. Her exceptional work in these endeavors earned her the distinction of being recognized as her unit's CGO of the Month on two occasions. Lawrence's deployment as the Chief of Programming showcased her leadership abilities and strategic thinking. She skillfully oversaw a $1B project portfolio plan aimed at relocating 7,000 personnel out of an explosive hazardous area. Her meticulous planning and execution not only ensured the safety of personnel but also earned her the esteemed recognition of being named the AFCENT Work Horse of the Month. Currently serving as the Readiness and Emergency Management Flight Commander, she has played a pivotal role in fueling two global operations by diligently ensuring the readiness of 62 engineers. Her efforts have been instrumental in building and sustaining critical infrastructure for four Combatant Commanders downrange. Lawrence's exceptional dedication to her field led to her selection as one of only nine Air Force officers chosen by the Civil Engineer Readiness Division to participate in a joint Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Defense Course with the Marine Corps.
