(Sept. 15, 2017) Jorge Hernandez, fire captain at Naval Air Station Key West, operates valves in order to transfer water between tanks for the air station to use as potable water after Hurricane Irma. The Department of Defense is supporting FEMA, the lead federal agency, in helping those affected by Hurricane Irma to minimize suffering and is one component of the overall whole-of-government response effort.
