    170916-N-KW492-434 CARIBBEAN SEA (Sept. 16, 2017) The amphibious dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) transits the Caribbean Sea off the coast of St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands. Oak Hill is assisting with relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. The Department of Defense is supporting FEMA, the lead federal agency, in helping those affected by Hurricane Irma to minimize suffering and is one component of the overall whole-of-government response effort.
