U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to Fort Bliss, Texas walk across the hot and vast desert range navigating through sandy terrain looking for their next marker as part of the land navigation assessment during the E3B event held at Fort Bliss, Texas, Sept. 17, 2024. More than 900 Fort Bliss Soldiers attempted to earn either the Expert Soldier, Expert Field Medic, or Expert Infantry Badge as part of the weeklong E3B event held from Sept 16-20, 2024. The E3B is a rigorous series of physical and combat tasks designed to increase Soldier proficiency, lethality and unit readiness.
