A U.S. Army Soldier assigned to the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division dons his Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) equipment as part of the Patrol Lane assessment for the E3B event held at Fort Bliss, Texas, Sept. 16, 2024. E3B puts Soldiers through a series of rigorous and demanding events and tasks such as the Expert Physical Fitness Assessment, land navigation, individual weapons familiarization lanes, medical tasks, patrol lanes, and the completion of a 12-mile road march in three hours or less to earn the coveted badges.

Known as the home of "America's Tank Division", Fort Bliss is one of the U.S. Army's premier strategic platforms. Events like the E3B strive to increase Soldiers' individual and collective readiness helping increase overall proficiency and lethality.
