U.S. Army Soldiers conduct a 12-mile ruck march as the final portion for the E3B event held at Fort Bliss, Texas, Sept. 20, 2024. During the week of Sept. 16-20, 2024, Fort Bliss Soldiers conducted a series of rigorous tests and assessment in order to earn either the Expert Soldier, Field Medic or Infantry Badge (ESB, EMB, EIB). Less than 30% of Soldiers who took part in the weeklong event earned one of the coveted badges.
