Fellow Soldiers cheer on E3B candidates during the 12-mile ruck march in the early morning hours of Sept. 20, 2024, as Soldiers complete the rigorous march at Fort Bliss, Texas. More than 900 Fort Bliss Soldiers took part in the weeklong E3B event held from September 16-20, 2024. E3B put Soldiers through a series of rigorous and demanding events and tasks such as the Expert Physical Fitness Assessment, land navigation, individual weapons lanes, medical tasks, patrol lanes, and the completion of a 12-mile road march in three hours or less to earn the coveted badges.
